Well this is exactly how I tend to move. Multiple small things scattered with a big goal in the middle. I have struggled with being all over the place and feeling like I haven't achieved anything. However, the way you have put across this tendency seems like I am going ahead only. But, why doesn't it feel satisfactory then ? Or why don't I feel happy inspite of working pretty much in this fashion ?

So, it honestly could be a few reasons:-

- everyone speaks so much of structure in a rigid form and going against that makes our mind feel inadequate or below par ( I feel that too)

- if the organised chaos becomes too disorganised from time to time it can make one feel overwhelmed .. that can also lead to this feeling.

But keep at it , you’re not alone
