What's holding you back from taking that final step? ( plus, a surprise )
We drag our feet, stay latched onto the present and refuse to commit to the future. It's the single biggest reason you don't get enough done. We get comfortable and look to avoid any form of change in our lives.
This is especially true in periods of comfort when you don't really "need" to change, but in your head, you know you must. We don't realise that if you embrace change when you're in comfort, you have a lot more cushion for acceleration & growth than if you do it when you have no other choice. Because, let's face it, the final step towards action can be tough to cross. It's the last leg to hold back and consider one's options. It is also where you can slide down the snake on the board game that is your life and nullify the progress you've made in recent times. Back to square one, back to inaction.
So, at this last stage, always take a deep breath, recall all the work you've done to get here and take that step ahead. The time for action is ripe, don't hesitate beyond that second.
