1-Insight
We often believe we are the main characters of our life, as we should. Well, what would the main character do without a strong supporting cast? Take a look around you. Do you think you have the right people around you?
I have a take on this that might help you figure out how and why you should surround yourself with the right kind of people.

“In the moments of our greatest struggles, we have the opportunity to either dismantle or rebuild ourselves, and I choose to rebuild.” These are the words Robin Arzón told herself in the middle of the longest race of her life—the Florida Keys 100 Ultramarathon. Robin is the Head Instructor and Vice President of Fitness Programming at Peloton. She is an ultramarathon runner and author of the 2016 New York Times Bestseller Shut Up and Run.
We are often faced with struggles, and they come armed with the ability to make or break us. We make the choice on how we let them affect us. In this mid-week newsletter, I recommend this podcast for a reason, to give you a chance to practice mindfulness and take a pause to catch your breath.
The Meditative Story podcast series combine immersive first-person stories and breath-taking music with the science-backed benefits of mindfulness practice. One key mindfulness takeaway from this episode was when Robin spoke of tuning into her body and doing a quick scan. We can do the same. Through our intentions, we can place our awareness where we want. This is what taking a pause means.
Take breaks to check in with yourself, evaluate internally what you have or need, and place your focus on the area it’s needed the most.
